SmartStairs Steel Modular Stair System

Our SmartStairs offer two types of modular stair systems. Constructed of heavy-duty steel by our in-house fabrication team, the SmartStair Flat-Packed Steel Modular Stair System boasts a full 25m x 25m mesh encapsulation for ultimate safety. The innovative, height-adjustable design is ideal for enclosed areas and these highly portable stairs are flat-packed for ease of transport and storage.

The SmartStair Ultimate Enclosed Modular Stair

While incredibly similar to its steel counterpart, these SmartStairs are made of lightweight aluminium. This aluminium stair system is crane-liftable and does not require specialised construction, while still having a modular box system for ease of assembly. This model also offers optional bridge box units and self-levelling stairs.

The SmartBridge Flat-Packed Steel Bridging System

As a system, these connect to SmartStairs and offer even more safety on worksites. With heavy-duty steel construction up to 35 metres, covered roofs, and handrails on both sides of the module, the SmartBridge Flat-Packed Steel Bridging System is an excellent safety addition to the SmartStair systems.

All achieving AS/NZs 1657:2018 and 1576:2018 compliance, these systems are optimised for tunnel construction, void access, and station box excavation.

Craneable Stair Solutions

SafeSmart also offers craneable stair towers for different purposes. Where the SafeSmart Craneable Stairs are made with high-tensile aluminium, the Scaffold Stairs Tower Access is a fully craneable construction that solely uses Proscaf components only. These scaffolding stair towers are mostly used to access difficult construction areas. This could be areas like the tops of pylons, chimney stacks, elevator shafts, or any vertical structure. This is in comparison to craneable stair towers, which are suited to a wider range of industrial settings, including large-scale constructions sites, excavation projects, and high-traffic environments.

AdjustaStairs

SafeSmart offers a huge range of AdjustaStairs products that are used to fit a wide range of needs. AdjustaStairs products cater to lower heights, with portable and adjustable heights offering self-levelling stairs that automatically adjust to the angle of the batter

The AdjustaStairs Hanging Landing stairs offer a hanging stair system that is designed to integrate into a pit or shaft. These landing stairs are much more space-friendly than the scaffolding stair solutions and are incredibly versatile, offering extra options for loop handrails or flat guardrails. This makes them customisable for site-specific safety requirements.

Similarly, the Mid Landings for AdjustaStairs offers a safe, stable, and adjustable stair access between multiple levels. Applicable for heights between 1m to 4m, they address a wide variety of access challenges while on construction sites. Constructed with durability in mind, they strictly adhere to the highest safety standards. These work platforms integrate seamlessly with other AdjustaStair products for adaptability and user-friendliness.
