Made in New Zealand and compliant with AS 1657:2018, our AdaptaSpan system is designed as a temporary bridge solution for worksites and construction sites. Perfect for access over trenches, canals, footpaths and worksites, this modular bridging span and deck system is made from high-quality materials and features a 2.5 kPA SWL weight rating. And at 1.2m in width, easy access by workers and their tools are accommodated.

Our AdaptaSpan temporary bridge system is offered with a perforated aluminium deck for grip and drainage in wet or muddy areas, and is assembled from prefabricated modular panel systems. Available in three lengths— 1mL, 2mL and 3mL module sizes; join modules together to create a clear span bridge up to 15mL.

The system’s 1.2-meter width allows for safe two-way traffic, accommodating workers and their tools without congestion. With a robust 2.5 kPa load rating, AdaptaSpan ensures that it can safely support heavy pedestrian construction loads, including workers and equipment.

The perforated aluminium deck design further enhances safety by providing superior grip and drainage, particularly in wet or muddy conditions, thereby minimising slip risk. For crossings near a stream, these systems are valued for reducing environmental impact and minimising stream bank disturbance. Additionally, the modular nature of AdaptaSpan allows for quick and easy assembly, enabling rapid deployment with minimal disruption during installation while creating temporary bridges up to 21 meters in length, enhancing efficiency by allowing rapid setup and modification to suit different site-specific requirements.
