The Chassis Access platform is a task-specific, stair access platform for access to the chassis area of haul trucks for maintenance works. This platform is mobile on either 200mm or 260mm castors and has raised and swaged perforated decking for maximum grip in wet and slippery conditions. The platform design includes a cantilevered section, allowing for access over either the hydraulic box or the fuel tank. This removes the need for the user to walk across the hydraulic box or fuel tank and gives direct access into the chassis.
The platform can also be adapted to have the cantilever off the side of the platform to reduce the space taken up in the workshop bay for use in tighter areas where space is a luxury! For access onto the platform, there are self-closing gates, with a locking swing gate for access off the platform. This gives the user full surround edge protection whilst on the deck. Fitted to the platform are 4x heavy-duty machine jacks for levelling and added stability when setting up the platform in the bay.
