In many environments during temporary works phases of construction or on industrial sites, aluminium bridges may be required to access internal walkways, depressions/gullies, and creeks/rivers to provide safe access and egress for site workers. The AdaptaSpan range is perfect for these applications. Another relatively common requirement for bridges comes when access is required for the public, in either a permanent or temporary application. In this case, temporary Proscaf bridging systems or permanent fabricated bridges can be provided.

The Proscaf bridging system is broadly used for applications such as:

• Temporary overhead rail crossings (during projects when existing permanent crossings are being replaced
• Temporary road bridges
• Bridging between buildings during construction works

To enable safe pedestrian access, custom-designed and fabricated permanent bridge aluminium systems are also available for walking trails, beaches, and rivers.

• Portable Bridges: available in 3m or 4.2m lengths, with fold-down flaps on either end, these 1.2mL bridges enable safe and easy access whilst being able to be deployed instantly. Lifting lugs enhance their useability.
• Formwork Stepover Bridges: these 3mL bridges have a small 400mm step up each end, with stair access onto the bridge section. They can be handled by 1-2 persons, which makes them ideal for positioning over steel reinforcing, small pipes, and other similar obstructions found on construction or industrial sites.
• Modular Stepovers: with various bridge lengths and access types available, the Modular Stepover range is mainly used in construction, oil & gas, and heavy industrial environments.
